The Practice of Generosity

Picture
The relationship between a sangha and its operational and financial needs are interdependent. We deeply appreciate your consideration of both financial and volunteer support. We offer Buddhist teachings, study opportunities, and practice opportunities freely, thanks to the generous support of many.

Each person in the sangha offering his or her own talents and capabilities is like a single arm of Avalokitesvara. When the members of the sangha work in unison, it can be as if the sangha, like Avalokitesvara, has a thousand arms that reach out to all points of the compass to form a never-ending circle.

There are three essential ways to give to Dharma Refuge.
  1. Become a Member
  2. Give a One-Time Gift
  3. Offer your time and talents by volunteering! Email us!

As always, we welcome all who wish to join us as a member. No one is turned away for an inability to provide support. Our personal financial story is always changing, and simply put, we take turns being the supporter and supported.

Dharma Refuge is a 501(c)(3) Not-For-Profit Corporation. All financial contributions are tax deductible. Our financial management practices and standing are fully transparent. If you have specific financial questions you're welcome to contact our finance team, and our treasurer will be in touch with you!
